The Camu Camu Jungle Lodge is a new rustic Jungle Hotel on the Tupana River about 180km south of Manaus.
The Tupana River is an Eco Reserve and well known for its vast fishing resources.
The lodge is owned by a couple from São Paolo, who decided to settle down in the Paradise of the Amazon.
Sustainable tourism is the main objective, the staff was acquired from the neighboring community.
The construction of the lodge is being done with funds from the jungle, without, however, cause any major environmental impact on the extraction of raw materials, with almost total use of wood extracted. All waste is sorted for recycling, and the organic part is utilized to generate compost to be used in the garden.
The lodge has 5 comfortable chalets with private bathroom for up to 4 person, a restaurant for up to 40 person and maloka with marvelous view over the Amazon Rain forest.
Motorized canoes are awaiting you for an exciting trip through primary rain forest.
